Fall Sports Offered At Frederick High School

Involvement in interscholastic sports can be worthwhile, and it is sure to leave many positive, lasting memories.  Please consider trying out for one of our teams.

The following sports are offered in the fall season (*practices/tryouts begin August 15th):
Field Hockey, Boys’ Soccer, Girls’ Soccer, Football, Volleyball, Boys’ Cross Country, Girls’ Cross Country, and Cheerleading

Golf practices/tryouts begin on August 17th
Parent permission forms and physical forms MUST be completed BEFORE a student can begin practice/tryouts.  The student must be examined (physical exam by a doctor) after May 31st, 2009 in order to be valid for this school year.  It is suggested that you schedule a physical exam now for this season.  This physical is valid for all three sports seasons this school year.  The necessary permission packets/forms can be picked up at the high school main office during the summer office hours.

In an effort to provide resources and educate our staff and families with regards to college athletics and the recruiting process, Frederick High School recently subscribed to an online Educational Recruiting System from Dynamite Sports, Inc. This powerful system has three (3) integrated programs on one website, and includes over 120 streaming videos, 15 power-point presentations and hundreds of charts and documents.
